Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini officially opened a Women's Parliamentary Caucus (WPC) Strategic Planning and Capacity Building Workshop at the Simunye Country Club. In her remarks, she encouraged the Women Parliamentarians to embrace their uniqueness as it is the very essence that will bring positive and productive contributions towards the formulation of WPC Strategic Plan, thus, pushing the country forward. She expressed her gratitude to His Majesty King Mswati III for encouraging EmaSwati to vote for women hence, the increase in the number of women Parliamentarians. Other speakers were the Lubombo Regional Secretary Zandile Swane Dlamini who represented the Regional Administrator Mr. Themba Msibi and UNFPA Head of Office Ms. Margaret Tembe. The workshop is sponsored by UNDP.
