Free Evangelical Christian Fellowship held an awards ceremony for best teachers and pupils where Clerk to Parliament Benedict Xaba was the guest speaker. In his speech, Xaba emphasized that school principals must have a vision in order to attain excellence. He then implored the Regional Education Officer (REO), Regional Administrator (RA) and Executive Secretary of the Teaching Service Commission to make the SiSwati Language a passing subject instead of English. To sum it up, the Clerk showered principals and teachers who had excelled with various gifts for a job well done.

Sports teachers could not be left out as they also received sports kits for their schools
The organizing committee was all smiles after receiving gifts of siSwati traditional cloth "umhelwane\" from the Clerk to Parliament.
