Two Bills were tabled in the House of Assembly namely: the Leadership Code of Conduct Bill, 2025 (Bill No. 8 of 2025), by Honourable Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Prince Simelane and the Nursing Council Bill, 2025 (Bill No. 5 of 2025), by Honourable Minister for Health Mduduzi Matsebula.The session also featured the tabling of the Government's response to Private Member's Motion No. 07/2025, concerning the shortage of essential medication, delivered by H.E. The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister. In addition, Members of the House reviewed the Ministerial First Quarter Performance Reports and deliberated on a Private Member's Motion proposing the establishment of a seven-member Select Committee to inquire into the contents of a petition submitted by health workers at Mbabane Government Hospital, previously presented before the House.
All eyes were focused at the gallery as stakeholders came in their numbers to witness the sitting.
