A delegation of influential women leaders in politics from across Africa arrived in Eswatini to discuss key issues affecting women and marginalized groups. The distinguished guests include Hon. Thoko Didiza (Speaker of South Africa), Hon. Catherine Gotani Hara (Speaker of Malawi), Hon. Beatrice Adagala and Hon. Leah Sopiato Moiko (Kenya), Hon. Mary-Ann Dunjwa and Hon. Dalereen James (South Africa), Hon. Emelda Munashabantu (Zambia), and Ms. Onoja Favour Obiageli (Nigeria). They were warmly welcomed by the Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini, House of Assembly Speaker Hon. Jabulani Mabuza, and members of the Eswatini Women Parliamentary Caucus, chaired by Senator Linda Nxumalo. Their visit featured a workshop in the House of Assembly Chamber, with key presentations from the Gender Unit in the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office. This engagement underscores the importance of cross-border collaboration in advancing gender equality and empowering women in leadership.
