Senators fine-tune the Royal Science and Technology Park Bill No. 21 of 2022

Senators fine-tune the Royal Science and Technology Park Bill No. 21 of 2022 at a workshop that was held at the Royal Villas.

The objectives of the Bill are:

• The continuance of the Royal Science and Technology Park >as established under the Act, No. 5 of 2012 as an innovation agency for the furtherance of research on science and technology related fields, innovation and associated technology transfer;
• The Royal Science and Technology Park as a designated Special Economic Zone;
• The continuance of the Board of Directors for the efficient and full operationalization of the Park;
• Repeal of the Royal Science and Technology Park Act No. 5 of 2012; and
• Incidental Matters.
