The Pacific Institute known for their transformative programs for organizations, kick started the event by challenging the employees to outline issues that cause one to resist change and how to deal with it, how to sharpen the institution’s agility, drive creativity and accountability among others.
The guest speaker for the exercise was renowned South African Executive and Performance Coach, Leadership Advisor, High Performance Strategist, Change Management Consultant and Published Author Dr. John Tibane. Dr. Tibane encouraged employees to thrive for excellence and to keep upgrading themselves for good service delivery.
He added that the COVID 19 pandemic provided a chance to find innovative ways of being productive, also leveraging on technology. “Never allow anything or anybody to discourage you from unleashing your greatest potential”, he added. The team building exercise was a prelude to the Strategic Plan exercise that is geared to take place in the beginning of 2021, as the Parliament Service endeavors to be an institution of excellence. The event turned out to be a great success and it was sponsored by private organizations.
