Parliamentary Service Staff clean-up campaign

The Parliamentary Service Staff took to the neighbouring areas of the Parliament building around Lobamba where they engaged in a clean-up campaign led by the Clerk to Parliament, Mr. Benedict Xaba. The initiative which took place on December 17, 2020, was aimed at raising an awareness on the negative impact on the environment caused by litter.

In his comments, the Clerk was still a major problem in the country and that it was unfortunate that there were still people who were failing to use garbage bins. Xaba said that one way to address this problem was to continually organise clean up drives in our communities and work areas.

The Parliament Service staff seemed to be enjoying themselves as it was also an opportune time for them to distress before breaking for the festive holidays.
