President of the Senate Lindiwe T. Dlamini led a delegation to Malabo-Equatorial Guinea to attend the 11th Retreat of the Association of Senates, Shoora and Equivalent Councils in Africa (ASSECAA) which was held at the Headquarters of the Senates in Equatorial Guinea. The Retreat was themed, 'Strengthening the joint Parliamentary Action of the Global South Countries to Face Environmental, Technological and Development Challenges'. The Eswatini Senate President who was recently elected Vice Chairperson of ASSECAA, in her keynote address, stated that divisions between countries created by geography, poor infrastructure and inefficient policies, are an impediment to economic growth.
