H.E. the Rt. Honourable Prime Minister Russel Dlamini, as Minister responsible for the Royal Eswatini Police Service, joined Senators, National Commissioner of Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) Manoma Masango, and senior officials of the Attorney General’s office at Sibane Sami Hotel for a capacitation workshop on the newly drafted Police Service Regulations of 2025. The Prime Minister thanked Senators for their unwavering support, noting that their unity should be emulated across all sectors. He encouraged them to provide input, reminding the gathering of His Majesty’s call for the protection and security of all Emaswati. Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini commended the Prime Minister’s leadership and dedication, adding that his efforts continue to drive national progress. She also applauded the Royal Eswatini Police Service for its professionalism and commitment to maintaining law and order.

The workshop focused on strengthening understanding of the draft Regulations, anchored in Section 95 of the Police Service Act of 2018. National Commissioner Masango presented the legal team behind the drafting process, while the Senate Portfolio Committee on REPS is chaired by Chief Prince Ngangabani.
