In honour of #InternationalWomensDay, the local Women's Parliamentary Caucus hosted a special welcome dinner, uniting influential political leaders, advocates, and changemakers. The evening featured an engaging panel discussion where speakers shared their journeys into politics, the challenges they have navigated, and the passion that drives them forward in a historically male-dominated space. Their stories highlighted the power of women in politics—not to replace men, but to collaborate, lead, and drive meaningful change together. The event served as both a celebration of progress and a call to continue empowering women in governance worldwide.
L-R Hon. Marwick Khumalo (CPA Eswatini), Hon. Thoko Didiza (Speaker RSA), Hon. Jabulani Mabuza (Speaker Eswatini), Sen. President Lindiwe Dlamini, Hon. Catherine Gotani Hara (Speaker Malawi), Minister Foreign Affairs Pholile Shakantu and Hon. Adagala Beatrice (CPA Kenya), engaged in panel discussion.
