The Portfolio Committee of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade tabled the Companies' Bill No. 5 of 2024, before the House of Assembly. In the same session, H.E. the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Russell Dlamini moved for the adoption of responses to a motion on the country's health challenges. This included a proposal to involve the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the National Emergency Response Council on HIV/AIDS (NERCHA) in supporting the Ministry of Health with the procurement of drugs for public clinics and hospitals. However, Members of Parliament asked for the withdrawal of the proposal, and the report was subsequently adopted with amendments.
