The internet Governance Forum (IGF), convened annually by the UN Secretary General, is a global multi-stakeholder platform that facilitates discussions on internet and digital policy issues.
Some of the objectives of the Internet Governance Forum is to familiarize Parliamentarians with the internet governance space and the broader international ecosystem for internet governance and digital policy; to also encourage them to actively contribute to relevant regional and international processes. National Parliaments from African countries including members of the Pan African Parliament (PAP) are in attendance and Senator Tony Sibandze as a member of PAP is representing the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
